Jen Carlson

Office Administrative Coordinator

Jen joined the Rifeline team in June 2023 and serves as the Office Administrative Coordinator. Jen has a background in hospitality, higher-education, and the non-profit sector.

Jen graduated from Northern Arizona University (NAU) with a Bachelors of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management and a minor in music. At NAU she was involved in several music organizations like the NAU Axecidentals, was a member of the NAU Student Philanthropy Council, and volunteered at the Coconino Humane Association which is where she adopted her dog Snoopy. Since moving to Austin Jen has joined the Round Rock Community Choir.

Prior to starting at Rifeline Jen served an AmeriCorps term with a local nonprofit—College Forward (now, College Possible Texas). In this work she supported first-generation college students with academics, finances, career development, and more. Jen is originally from central Arizona and moved to Austin for her service. She enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dog, visiting coffee shops, and perusing the museums around the city.
