Mical Roy
Sr. Community Outreach Manager
Mical Roy joined Rifeline in June 2024 as a Senior Community Outreach Manager. Mical is an education and communications expert with over 10 years of experience in educational leadership and English language arts teaching in both lower and higher education. As a prostate cancer survivor, he is also the co-founder of Bastrop County's Pink and Blue Affair, providing education and awareness on Breast and Prostate Cancer to Austin and surrounding communities. In his professional career, he has led award-winning cancer education campaigns nationally for multicultural communities. He has also been recognized as Teacher of the Year, Houston’s 30 Under 30, Zero Champion for Zero, the end of Prostate Cancer, and more. Currently, he is serving as Commissioner, Place 1 for the City of Leander’s Public Arts and Culture Commission and has recently completed Leander ISD’s Leadership LISD Class of 2024 cohort and the City of Leander’s inaugural Citizen’s University. With a bachelor’s in public relations and image management from the Dan Rather School of Communications at Sam Houston State University, and educational leadership training through Prairie View A&M University’s master’s program, Mical is dedicated to driving transformative change and fostering sustainable practices.
Mical enjoys spending time with his wife and their two girls, Maleah and Margaux. He also enjoys writing and traveling.
