Nikki Thompson
Designer and Production Manager
Nikki Thompson joined Rifeline in October of 2024. Her position as Rifeline's Graphic Designer and Production Manager of the Creative Services department includes working closely with project managers and team members to coordinate, manage, and deploy Rifeline’s shared support services in creative design, drone photography/video and language translations.
With over 10 years of experience, Nikki's skillsets span from professional photography, graphic design, videography to marketing communications. Her approach includes producing materials that promote equity and inclusion while utilizing use of dynamic visual content to engage and capture audiences. Before joining Rifeline, Nikki worked at the City of Austin's Transportation Public Works Department as a Public Information Specialist Sr. from 2020-2024. As a result of her work there, she was able to lead and produce visual communications for initiatives such as Our Future 35, Get There ATX, Corridors for Complete Communities, and the Corridor Program.
Having received her Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media from the Art Institute of Indianapolis in 2014, Nikki has since worked closely with a diverse range of clients spanning the Southwest region transforming unique narratives into marketable communications. As a multimedia specialist, Nikki's work transforms complex information into valuable tools such as infographics, training materials, event displays or advertisements, informational maps, and more. Nikki's passion for art and expanding creativity continues outside of the office through a variety of mediums such as painting, illustrating, sculpting, filmmaking and music production.
